Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Grand Teton National Park is a US National Park that established in 1929 and located in Teton County, northwestern Wyoming. This park approximately 130,000 ha, the park includes the major peaks of the 64 km. Jackson is the nearest city from Grand Teton National Park. The Distance between yellowstone and grand teton is only 10 miles.

Grand teton national park famous for its Teton Range, Jackson Hole, grand teton mountain, lakes and river, any species and much more. Grand Teton is the highest mountain in Grand Teton National Park. The elevation is 4,199m.

Grand teton is a popular destination for mountain and rock climbers. How hard is it to climb the Grand Teton is dependent route you take and your climbing experience.  If you are less experienced and are not familiar with a variety of routes, instruction and climbing escorts is the best solution for you. Hikers are also encouraged to register their climbing plans with the National Park Service to know the best time to get climbing.
Jackson Hole is one of the popular attractions in Grand Teton National Park. This is a valley that contains streams and rivers and surrounded by mountains, it is a habitat for otter and other fur-bearing animals.

In addition to climbing, lots of activities to do in Grand Teton National Park. Camping, Hiking, Boating, fishing and more. In the winter, Visitors are allowed to do snowshoe and cross-country skiing. You can also take pictures of animals that are within Grand Teton National Park, for example, black bear, coyote, river otter, marten, badger, yellow-bellied marmots, least chipmunk, muskrat, beaver, Uinta ground squirrel, pika, snowshoe hare, porcupine , and six species of bats. Mountain lion, lynx and wolverine are occasional sightings.
